Default Sher Drill Press Switch failure

    Hi folks,
My drill press, Sher model P12, bought secondhand a few years ago, has suffered another switch failure. The switch wont stay on. The previous time a friend fixed it, but he is overseas for 3 months and he never gave me an explanation of how he fixed it. (Actually, there's no guaranetee that he fixed it correctly in the first place).

Any suggestions? Anybody know if replacement switches are available?
I've pulled it apart but cant see anything obviously wrong.

Put it back together, and it works now, sort of....Still very dodgy. One of the screws holding it together is missing, so hopefully that is the problem, as that is an easy fix.

Replacement switches are available, they may not look identical, but if they fit in the hole and do the switching, that's all that matters. Most good machinery or electrical suppliers should have spare switches.
