Do you have a space in front of the garage? A car port can be very cost effective. Esp if you DIY. You just need something to keep the sun and rain off. It will basically double your workshop.
Ideally you will be able to fit lighting under it.
    This is what I have.
My carport floor is not flat but I find that this is not vital.
I built a large assembly table on casters.
It takes up most of the free space when the door is shut. However if I roll it out into the carport I suddenly have lots of room inside and outside to work.
Next I am going to experiment with another pop up table that will live under the assembly table when not in use.

I wish I had a carport! Nah, the ground isn't level and there isn't enough room. We're in a townhouse.

I need more space so the neighbours don't hate the noise of saws and routers all weekend.

I want something like this, I'm not even that fussy about the brand. Should be doable, shouldn't it?
Oh, wait a minute, probably a good idea to have somewhere to put it first.

And when the shed is full of tools, and there is hardly space to move ....

... then you will begin to seriously consider downsizing everything, perhaps moving to as few handtools as possible .. keeping it simple. Mmmmmmm.

Actually, I'd like to upgrade my tablesaw.

There's always more tools. The next thing is a home use water jet cutter.
