I need a small ally welding job done.
I have to cut a hole in the top of an ally toolbox so I can fit a generator in it and I need to have a cap made to reseal the lid. Is there anyone who lives reasonably close to Tooradin that can help me out?
Thanks in advanceTo grow old is inevitable.... To grow up is optional

Did you get any takers John? I'd stick my hand up but I'm a little far away.

No takers yet , may have to rivet it together.

Can you post a sketch of what you want done? If it is only a small cover/cap it may be possible for me to weld it up and post it over to you - a bit of mucking around but it should be better sealed and neater than rivets (although you will still need to rivet it into the lid)

Thanks for the kind offer Michael, but I'll probably make up a frame from angle and use Sikaflex and rivets to sheet it up. Besides, how would I get the 6 pack of your favourite bevvie to you?

The offer is there. The 6 pack is not necessary - for small jobs I'm happy to do them against a favour in the future (either for me or someone else). It would still be good to post a sketch though as there may be someone here capable that doesn't want to commit in case the job is bigger than they thought.
