Old CIG Transmig 195 Manual
G'day,
I've just bought myself an old CIG Transmig 195 and it may be in need of some spares. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get my hands on a manual?
Failing a manual, if anyone out there has one of these welder, are you able to take a photo of the drive roll unit, so that I can compare it to mine?
I will post a picture of my drive roll unit for experts to comment, when I pick up the welder.
Thanks

This thread is deeply amusing to me, as I only just picked up the same welder (Rural pak) today
I'll take a photo of the drive roll unit later on tonight for you
Later on, and I've taken some photos! Hope they're helpful, please excuse the dust, it looks like the machine I purchased had been sitting around for quite some time. Unfortunately I can't yet test it out, as I need to get a 15 amp socket installed in the shed

Thanks Lord Bug,
It's a different model, mine is a compact and doesn't have a travelling wire feeder, but, being of the same vintage, I would imagine that they use similar parts. Having said that, it does look like parts are missing from my drive unit; in particular the part the compresses against the drive roll, as in, the part on top of the wire.
I'll have to do some hunting around to see if I can find one of these.
Thanks Heaps.

Oh well, getting ripped off like that on the fine print just takes all joy out of it!
Did the Coles trolley come with it, btw?

I generously left it behind (The pair of old fellows giving me a hand loading it up were flabbergasted that I managed to fit it in the back of my trusty Barina), as I couldn't really see any use for the drum kit cymbal and other misc. bits in the trolley
Pleasantly, there was a very dusty and well used Kemppi mask, has a flip up clear screen but currently no dark glass, I'm quite tempted to purchase a Jackson auto darkening module to try to drop into it.

No, it was $61.18... he got ripped off on the fine print!
That bloody mask alone was probably twice your money right there

Uglydan, this is the link to the auction: Cigweld Transmig Rural Pak 195 Mig Welder, with feeder (900030-19) Auction (0061-9000007) | GraysOnline Australia
I was somewhat stunned when I received the "You've won!" email, and as an added bonus, the machine looks in better condition than the photos make it out to be. I just really need to get a 15A power point installed in my shed so I can actually test that it works and make use of it!
It'll be quite an upgrade from the 160A Bunnings MIG welder I'm currently suffering
