Thread: Cover lens spares for Tecmen AD helmet

Hi everyone,

By now many of us who have the Tecmen brand helmets may have used up the clear plastic cover lens and spare.

Trying to source a replacement lens was a PITA as the potential candidates at the local welding supply were too big ,too small, too thick and too expensive.

I took my old cover lens to a plastics dealer,in my case Consolidated Plastics in Mackay.They were able to provide a sheet of poycarbonate exactly the same thickness as the original Tecmen lens.

For $5 I was able to purchase a sheet which provided 12 replacement lenses.

Hopefully you may have the same success with your local plastics dealer..
