Hello.
How do you calculate the amount of heat generated on the opposite side of a plate you are welding to. All S355 plt.
For example, you are welding a 40x40x5 , 200mm long angle bar to a 100mm thk deck with a 6mm fillet using mig.
What is the max heat generated on the surface of the opposite side of the plate?
I need to know this to work out if the freshly coated paint on the other side would get damaged !!
