looking at buying my first AC/DC tig
So I've got about $1500 to $1800 to spend I've been looking at HF START with 200amps.
It's plenty of power for what I'll need it for . I'm in Australia and looking to walk in and buy in person.
4 brands I've been looking at are Michigan 200amp AC DC, lincoln electric AC DC 200amp and the CIGWELD weldskill 200amp AC DC. Unimig200 acdc I'm leaning towards the cigweld version at least I'll be able to get a bottle of argon in a D size and pay $1800 for everything.
I already have a cigweld professional 175i mig welder and correct me if I'm wrong but I was told it can mig weld Alluminum aswell but I haven't tried it yet because I have no argon gas I'm also told that I need to change the liner in the gun for the blue Teflon version if that's true .
