I've not read the full context of this thread, but excellent workmanship and looking good. How many filler rods have you used by now? By the time you get finished, you'll have welding down to a fine art
. Just kidding, is welding your profession, or just plenty of practice?

Thanks Kryn and Ross.
Just a weekend warrior Kryn...probably more like a couple of times a month warrior. Would like to have more practice in but the boat cops my practice, poor boat.
Started off with 5kg of 2.4mm, a couple of kgs of 3.2mm rod. About half left but plenty done with that over the years not only on the boat.
I think about 3 rolls of mig wire used so far.

Decided to add some transom steps/extensions this weekend to cover the trim tabs.
I was all ready to weld them on today but welding in this weather I'm only pushing water. Will have to wait till next weekend when it dries out.
