    Default reccomend me a welder

    ok i prefer a decent welder would be nice if it was beginner cabable stick or mig what ever is easy 20A amp max ive been looking at the cig inverter 170 with tig cabablealities 400ish or a 4 in one with plasma cutting for 1500ish

    any other ideas?

    will prolly just be making the odd item arround the house. and side steps for the ute

    The issue is for you to decide what welder will best suit you and the work that you will intend to do. If you are planning to do car panel type of work I would steer you towards a good little mig welder.. If tig welding is going to be your main game you can look at the ones that are set up to do tig and mmaw.
    I would keep away from the 4in1 machines because i believe over time the plasma usage would sooner harm the welder and result in problems with the tig side if the machine. if you need the plasma buy it as a separate unit. Arc welding is the cheapest form of welding and as with mig you have the added cost of renting the cylinder and gas refills. Yes you can use innersheild (gasless) mig wire but this wire is more expensive to buy than th plain variety.
