Hi,
Anderson Stainless at Tuggerah Anderson Stainless : Your complete Stainless Steel Stockist have straight argon for $70 E Size and $175 per annum for cylinder via Air Liquide. There is also a Speedgas outlet at Gateshead 0431 039 375 where you can buy and keep rather than rent. Refills cost a bit more but you save if only filling a couple of times a year.

Do yourself a favour and get in touch with speedgas. They have an outlet in gateshead. Basically you pay a fee upfront and then there is no rental fees, you just ring up a few days before you need a new bottle and go in there and swap it over. it does cost more to refill than through boc etc. I have an e size which i think is about 400 upfront which also includes the full bottle of gas then every refil is just over $100 (maybe 130?). so for me who had an account with boc and went through 2 e sized bottles of gas in about 6 years it will definatly work out cheaper through speed gas. Bonus is you forget about how much you paid upfront after a few weeks and just enjoy not having to pay rental fees.
HTH

I use Speedgas and think it's great.
At least SWMBO can't complain about the annual rental.
That in itself is enough to go with Speedgas!

can't remember the cost but it was only a little less than an e size but d has something like 1.5m3 of gas and e size is 4m3. I think Peter put up the number of speedgas furthur up. Give them a call (I think the guys name is Martin) and they are very helpful.
Cheers

Hi Brendon
Below is a reply to an enquiry i made to speedgas.
The price of an E size (4.0m3) cylinder is $285 the price of the gas is $133. So initially it would be $418. You would then own the cylinder and only pay for the gas as needed.
We don’t supply Argon in F size at the moment
The price maybe a bit different in Newcastle
Call a different Martin on 0431 039 375, he can help you further, he looks after that area.
Thanks
