    This is one serious matchine, it's old, of solid cast iron construction, 1870 x 310 bed, twin 310 mm knives, it's original 3 phase motor has been converted to single phase.
    Made by . L Barker. for McPherson's.
    It is in excelent condition, and runs beautifully

    Yeah but just think of the poor old fella sitting in some yard someplace all cold, unloved and rusting away into oblivion. Your doing a public service and keeping history alive for the future.
    You can always extend the shed!

    Also you could move on one of the smaller thicknessers and add to the L.S.Barker collection he is your name sake of course!
    I am sure getting a new one would make you feel better also.
