Default Nice Wadkin Bursgreen table saw in SA , Gumtree.

His description says " 10 and 12" in BRT Wadkin Bursgreen tilting arbor dimension saw bench "

I'm wondering what BRT means ? It looks like a 10 AGS with the sheet metal extension table to the right.

Update on items I listed a few post back. items sold for:

Door Cramp $325 would have made a great base for a bench if not used a as a cramp.

    Band saw woodworking $217

bandsaw Heavy Duty 3 Phase $1,615.00 Go LS Barker!!!

Tenon Machine $1,525.00 and to think that big robinson went for scrap!!

    Chain Mortiser 3 Phase $456.00

Don't suppose any forum members went after these?????

Rob this is a 10inch AGS saw.

The AGS came in 3 sizes.
    14 inch
    12 inch
10 inch the most common which was also made by Chas Cousins in Sydney in the 60s.
You can use a 12 inch blade on a 10inch but it will stick up 1inch above the deck when lowered to the max.
The BRT was the replacement for the smaller AGS saws, it is designed for a 12 inch blade and has the same fence as the BGP.
Cheaper handles for tilt and rise and fall. About the same overall size as the 10inch AGS.
Have pics of them all in various cats and brochures.

Interesting H, the " Chas Cousins in Sydney " type , are they an exact copy or is it easy to spot the differences ?
    I have the 10 AGS, It's a nice little saw .
