The write up makes them sound like they know what they are doing.

I'm wondering about trying these soon, i see they offer upto 1 1/2" too. Has anybody else pushed the button on a set yet? It would be nice to know if they are made from cheese before wasting the £100 or so.

Sion, I've looked at these and I'm not impressed, for that price I'd rather chase some old stock of Reynolds, Monk Worsley etc, even to pay a little more you'd still end up with a better chain set.
Pretty sure where you are over in the UK there's still quite a bit of gear !?
I've seen from time to time on ebay UK even new old stock for sale ?
Over here a supplier that I know has German made sets of metric chain, bars and sprockets for a little over $300, still better value I think.

I do agree Matty, they do occur from time to time, however, recently there seems to be a bit of a dirth of the sort of sizes I am looking for. I need a 1" + size quite soon, and I noticed the listing in the link above totals $290 for a 3/4" set, according to google that is near enough £130, but on ebay uk there is another seller of what looks to be identical chain sets, and their price all in for that 3/4" set is £89 / $193. From that seller I can buy a 1" set also priced at £89, and the 1 1/2" set for £99. So I am tempted but yes I would much prefer to find used or new old stock Renold or the like.

Sion, I can see by the lower prices that it could be tempting.
Perhaps just a road test on just one ??
