Saw ID Help -- Two Medallions
I picked up this saw this weekend:
- 25"
- 5 1/2 ppi
- Spot for nib, but no nib there (doesn't appear there ever was one -- smooth taper)
- Spots for two medallions (no medallions remaining)
- One sawnut (narrower diameter post)
- No visible etch or stamp
I've never owned a saw with two medallions. Also, the nib is gone -- not sure if it was smoothed down after breaking off.
Regards, Dave

Hello Dave
My first thought was that is an early No.99 panel saw, but from your description it is 25" long so probably a slightly shortened 26" hand saw.
Therefore my thoughts don't really fit.
