Default Information on Cyclone Forging please

I recently found this claw hammer marked "Cyclone Forging" "CF" in a shield and, I think "Ironmaster", Australia. The ...master is difficult to make out so it may be something else.

I am not a collector of old tools per se, just Australiana, but would be interested to hear any information on Cyclone tools you knowledgeable people may wish to share.

    Thanks Zsteve,

It is a heavy hammer, but no weight mark that I can see. Any idea of the dates of operation?

I do find it fascinating, and quite sad, that Australia once had the industry to produce such high-quality tools, but even though we have many more people and are so much wealthier we no longer do.

I know there are a few articles on Cyclone in the HTPAA tool chest magazine, tried looking last night but couldn't find what I was looking for... sure there was one only recently maybe in the last year?

Cyclone did go into partnership with Percy Miller in the early days of hammer making, and some old Ball Pein hammers you may find with "Miller Cyclone" and PCM stamped on the side recognise those early origins. But would need to find a coupl eof those articles to check if any dates were mentioned.
