Mystry Tools
I got these two tools in with a box of old woodworking stuff.... was wondering if anyone had any idea what they would have been used for? They seem to be marking or grooving tools .

This one is 3/4" wide and 7 1/2" long and has a fibre rubbing block that is flat on one side and curved on the other. By the wear marks on the front side it looks as though something was dragged along that surface. The point that hangs over the top of the Block isn't that sharp, so doubt that it was used for cutting but maybe for marking

This one may have been used by hand .....It has a double ended cutter in the holder. The holder is brass that is riveted onto the steel handle.... I would think this was shop made.
The cutter looks to have a cutting angle of around 45 deg.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
