That looks great. The possibilities for the suitcase transportation seem endless...handsaws, planes, chisels, AK-47s, suitcase nukes etc. etc..

What I would really like to get hold of, however, is your supplier of suitcases.

For AK-47s the fit is better with a violin case. Or so I’m told.

I've got dozens of old cases of various shapes and sizes that I gathered up from garage sales,
op shops and clearing sales, I found that they make ideal storage units (with handles) for my tool collection.

I'll try to get a few more examples photographed to show their versatility, (but none of them
contain lethal weapons).

Tell us about the Pope flat spanner set. Where there a/f and Whit sets? How many in each?

Hi Andrew,

sorry for the delay in answering your questions about
the spanners, they were put away but now have access
to another set.

From the information I have they were made for only
a short 10 year or so period after WW2 to supply the local
markets demand for tools, while there were no tools being
imported.

They were only for light work, being made from pressed metal,
there were 5 in the set held together with metal a clip.

They were A-F, sizes from 1/4" to 1"
