    Default Oliver No7 Wood Trimmer.

Finally found a need to get this together.
The cut was good but not great, I suspect very slight surface marks on the flat side of the blades is the reason.
I had the blades sharpened at Chapmans, bevels are good but I guess I should have surface ground them first.
Might go into the Uni ( where I used to work) on Wednesday and give them I lick on the grinder.

Being a little bit too young to have used one myself. A bloke I once worked with used to do the fix with one. Architraves. Mitres. But........ He said they are only good on the fine trim cut. As in keep shaving a little bit off until you get to your mark. Slicing too much at a time was too rough. As for the back of the blades, keep them well clear of a grinder, all they'd require would be a nice rub held flat on a diamond or oil/water stone I reckon.
