Default Another old plane to clean up

This time it is a type 11 not with its original iron but the iron it came with is a sweetheart iron that has been been very well used so I will probably be buying a new cutter iron for this one even though it still has a little bit of hardened steel left, turns out the person i bought this from is a distant cousin to my partner so that was a plus.

Some of the paint work I have been touching up with a paint brush just to cover the bare metal only and to leave all of the original japanning exposed plus repair to the rear tote which I was not all that happy with as the polyurethane glue stands out like a sore thumb really starting to wish I could get my hands on some rosewood so I can actually cut out old breaks and replace with a new piece of wood also the tote and front knob have just had their first coats of shellac
