Sourcing parts for Stanley #98 marking gauge
Calling upon the collective knowledge base of forum members,
I'm trying to source parts for Stanley #98 marking gauge, particularly the pins, rollers (pizza cutters), roller screw, and a thumb screw. The restoration project of the gauge has sentimental value to me as it belonged to my father and was in regular use in his early working life. It has lost all of its nickel coating and has a wonderful used patina.
Hoping someone can assist with parts or a source for parts.Mobyturns

Try contacting Hans Brunner. First home of fine old tools
He used to have a bunch of spare parts.

I’ve bought Stanley spare parts from Tool Exchange in QLD. Not sure if they gave any 98 spares but they have a couple of 98s for sale.
