Very drool worthy!

The UK is awash in old tools. For the most part, by comparison to the rip off prices demanded here, they're giving them away.

I used to go around all the car boot sales, and even the antique shops, and bought a lot of tools. To be honest, the work and the tools was like nothing I've ever experienced before, a woodworker's wet dream. I am bitter about leaving the UK, but the government and boarder force there is very discriminatory against immigrants and my wife couldn't stand the stress anymore.

You don't need a shipping container. Just need a crate. When I was there I was planning on setting up a business with the bother inlaw in Canada... I'd package and list everything on ebay and all he'd have to do is send it to whomever... Then the wife said: I've had enough, let's go home... Well that idea went down the toilet fast LOL.

I could pack a crate that was 500x1000x1000 with thousands of $ worth of tools. And the beauty of it was the size is all that matters. You share a container and the shipping company didn't care if the crate weighed 5kg or two tonnes. At that time it was $10/cubic foot; probably $25 now. All I had to do is make the crate so a forklift could get underneath and a tonne or so could be stacked on top - easy. The issue is finding someone over there... I have a strong suspicion that the tool sellers here utilise professional buyers over there. If you can tap into one...

Come to think of it my 60th is coming up... I feel a trip back to the ol country coming on.
