Default Finish for a wooden geared clock

I am building this clock HolzMechanik.de

I wonder what finish is best? I will finish the stock before cutting it on my cnc router so I don't get finish on the teeth edges. I don't want a finish that will yellow.

I have tung oil and orange oil.

    I have cabothane spray - https://www.bunnings.com.au/cabot-s-...rosol_p1572088

I have Feast Watson Clear Furniture oil spray.

I am happy to buy something else - what do you recommend for a clock?

    Mike
