KISS clock
The category only says 'Clocks' so boot me off for posting a clock with no timber involved if you must.
I wanted a clock to put under the verandah that I could see from the shed and here it is! - don't want one bothering me in the shed . Nice and simple . The movement is fairly well protected inside the Rawleighs tin (which still has a lining of ointment to stop it rusting) and the lid comes off as per normal to get at the battery. Would love to build more but that was the only old tin I had that hasn't been painted over - will be keeping an eye out at the markets from now on!

Love the barbed wire Vern .
Not sure how well you will see the clock from a distance, personally I'd like a bright blue electronic clock with huge numbersNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Love it! Might even copy it if I can find a suitable tin. Oh..... where have you been hiding Vern?

Very very nice. Dipped lid!
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Thanks for the comments everyone - much appreciated!
Didn't want it to be too 'in-my-face' so to speak and it fitted that bill but it is a little tricky to see from the furthest door - but still better than hassling the missus for the time
Not hiding, just spend too much time on pooters at work these days and don't feel like looking at them once I get home - have enough trouble just keeping the website updated these days

These ideas may seem simplistic but really have to get this sitting right to be accurate.
At least to the nearest 5 minutes. If you put this in an art galley I wonder how much this would be worth?
