    Here is a quick clock project made from a $3.00 clock and a piece of scrap Sheoak.

    that's a very nice gift

    i like the way you have "documented: the process with photos ... when i make something as a gift, i often do that (mind you i am a photographer) and the photo series then forms part of the gift
