My first real clock build
G'day
I thought I would show my first real go at a clock build , the only ones I have done before are movements mounted in a timber slab or slice.

Nicely done indeed!!!
My one suggestion for improvement would be to have selected a piece of flawless or featureless light coloured contrast timber.
If you look at clock cases you will find a uniformity about the timber used. Just my opinion.

Ooooh! Very nice. I like it.
Of course, my PERSONAL preference would be to have a wind up, mechanical movement in it, but that is not to detract from the excellent workmanship in the case. (I am just a bit funny that way!)
Keep up the good work.
