    Default sorta kinda first clock

This is the second clock I have done. The first was an attempt to copy TTITs wavy clock. Not gunna post it here though, his was waaaay better This one was a request from SWMBO after she saw something similar at the Melbourne woodies show. It took about 1 year to trip over the right bit of timber and about another year to complete it. I got the mechanism from Jim Carrol. Only problem was the hands and numbers only came in black (too dark for the timber) or gold ( I really don't like gold at all). So I got the black plastic ones and sprayed them with a copper metallic paint. The timber is natural color and sprayed in "FeastWatsons" timber varnish. Don't know the timber species though, as I said, I tripped over it somewhere and saw it as the piece I was looking for.

    Cheers

    Very nice! Beautiful finish.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
