sourcing movements, barometers etc.
Does anyone source barometer, thermometer or hygrometer movements from China or the USA directly?
They are hard to get in W.A. and very expensive
Tried ebay, but only found clock movements which are easy to get here anyway.
Cheers. Phill.

Sourcing Weather Instruments
Hi Guys & Gals This is Janine from Lets Make Time Clock Company I have been importing clocks and Weather Instruments for about 20yrs. I have great prices and really quick service as well as that I sponsor this site so I would love it if people supported me. I mail Australia wide using mostly express post and only stock good quality stuff.

Clockgirl
This is what I love about this site you can find people that you did not know were around.
If I just had looked a little more I would have ordered some parts from you instead of carba-tec.
Had a look at your site and love it

I have been making a search on clock fit ups for several days. I have looked at "Woodies" mags and on the net.
I do not know Janine Pye but I can say this from my searching. Letsmaketime has the most comprehensive stock list that I have seen so far. I have seen similar and same items advertised for up to $17.00 at other suppliers sites, going for $10.90 with Janine Pye.
Some of the other sellers do not stock weather instruments, do not supply hand for clocks at a reasonable a price or for free, and will not answer email requests even though they have a "Contact Us" on their site.
Personally, I beleive from my searching that janine Pye has gone to a lot of trouble to set up the most comprehensive clock fit up business in Australia.
Thank You BB
