Default WA Clock - Westminster Chime - FREE

This should probably go in the marketplace, but it is not a sale item and would be more of interest in this forum.

I have had this clock for years but SWMBO wants to get rid of it.

The clock is working but losing time quite badly. The chimes are beautiful full Westminster, chiming on the quarter hour. I don't have the skills to overhaul the movement and I'm not allowed to spend the money to have it done.

Please somebody, give it a nice new home! I cannot just put it in the rubbish.

The clock is in Ellenbrook WA so it would have to go to a WA person as shipping is just not feasible.

    Any interest?

Gee! I wish I lived in WA. .......but, then on the other hand, I might have the same problem with my wife that you have with yours.

Actually, I brought home a free GF clock last week. A friend gave it to me. SWMBO won't let me bring it into the house unless I get rid of another clock first! Oh well. It needs a lot of work done on it first anyhow, so it will live in the garage for a few months (years?) and then we will re-negotiate.

It is an "Electromechanical Clock", powered by an electromagnet, which pushes the pendulum, which drives the clock. I've never had one like that before!

    Cheers
