Anyone Apart from Mik at Goolwa Wooden Boat Festival in South Australia This Weekend?
The flights are booked and the various repairs to my boat seem to be working after a test sail on the Parramatta river yesterday, so on Wednesday night I'll be setting out on a 16 hour drive across Southeast Australia with eldest daughter and my 5m Ness Boat Harry Henry in tow. The rest of the Family are flying down to join us.
Goolwa is in fact where HH began its life after a similar car trip to a Duck Flat Summer School in January 1996. Hopefully the wheels will remain on the trailer this time.
Anyway looking forward to seeing Mik, the Duck Flat crew and hitching a ride on a Restricted 21 with our holiday house owner for some racing. Will anyone else on the list be there?

Howdy. Assuming nothing strange happens Duckflat and I will have a get together at one of the pubs after things die down on Saturday arvo. Probably start 5.30 to 6 and finish a bit after 7.

I'll be wandering around and the pub sounds good.
Maybe getting a ride on an old river boat, wet the duck if the weather is kind.
The sailing rig will not be finished for the Eureka but it will get to the Duck Flat stand.Mike

The get together might be on the stand. Drop by during the day to check. We will meet up at the Duckflat tent about 5.30pm
