    Belt sander jobbie. or plane.

Just get the boat to the point where the stitches can be pulled out and then it is a bit of art to get it to all work out.

That's one of the joys of stitch and poo boats ... maybe the only one? The ability to sort out problems at the stitch up phase. On the other side of the coin, unless the panels are spot on, you have problems getting a decent hull shape, which is why I'm very wary of a lot of the 'designers' out there. It's also why it took so long for the stitch and glue Heron to be ratified ... if indeed it has been - they found it almost impossible to get the same hull shape twice in a row (within the restrictions required for class racing).

Go for it mate. Maybe if the weather's too horrible tomorrow I'll come around and have a sticky beak

    Feel free to pop in.

I'm seriously thinking of making up a stem piece to fill the gap at the side panels incorporating the wachamacallit hole.

Good to see some proper technical language, finally. 'Course some pundits simply refer to it as the 'W.H.', but I prefer the complete term. Too many acronyms in our lives.

+(some experts in the field spell it 'wotcha...', but most technical manuals written in Aust use your spelling, I'm reliably informed by a bloke at the pub.)

Mate that's like calling a blokes dog ugly.......might be true but you never ever say it. you certainly do stride fearlessly where others fear to tread.

Yes a safe trip to you both and have fun.

Daddles popped in briefly to cast his critical eye over proceedings unfortunately he had to shoot through before we got down to some nitty gritty boat talk, I'll leave him to explain

Anyway a proper shed crawl is still to be done.

    Cheers
    Mike
