Default Leach Ribbons and making sail trim easier.

There have been some changes to the sails we make for the Goat Island Skiff sails at reallysimplsails.com in the Philippines. Also make sails for the Oz range of boats and the drop in canoe rig.

One of the changes is that the sails now come with leach ribbons.

This is an article that shows how to use these simple, cheap, but highly effective trimming guides.

I finally added leach ribbons this past spring. Made a huge difference this summer. I wish I had done it years ago.

Is that why in the goat NE roundup you boat seemed often to be just ahead of the other two?

Nah. That was pure treachery. I know how to place myself to make it look good for the cameras. I was good at treachery long before I started using leach ribbons.

Treachery AND Leach ribbons looks like an unbeatable combination!
