New article on my website.
Books and articles that changed my thinking in a radical way. My boat design thinking that is!
Most regulars would know about this list, as most have appeared on this forum from time to time. But this page is for easier access.

Lake Macquarie Classic Boat Festival on over Easter.
I am going up on the Saturday with AlexN who is building the OzRacer. We will be meeting up with Bruce (Woodeneye) who with any luck will have his "for sale" Goat Island Skiff there.
Won't be around on the Sunday.
You can look for the varnished Goat Island Skiff or speak to the Chaps on the NSW Boatcraft Pacific stand - they are otherwise called "Drive Marine".
Website for the show is here.

STill in the USA but back on board.
Just needed a bit of a break. It's been almost five years since the rebirth of storerboats. I can't imagine the number of email and posts I've answered and the number of net articles.
I think I was a bit burned out.
Am currently staying at Duckworks in Texas. And will be doing a talk for the Central Texas boat crafters and messabout society in a couple of weeks.
Then will have time to head up and get some canoe coaching from Paul Helbert.
See you all more regularly on this forum.

Hello MIK,
Great to see you back on the forum re-energized!
I think that regular breaks are very good to keep the spirits up and to approach matters with a fresh mindset again.
Enjoy the remainder of your stay in the US.
Best wishes,
Joost

Welcome back MIK.
Even a bloke whose passion is his work needs a break.
Or a hobby. ;-)
