| | Pics from woodenboat are up. It was the quiet season .. winter coming fast, the boats hidden away in sheds.
The folks at woodenboat made me feel like a rock star - booked a room in a B and B, took me around the place, seemed really excited to see me. So cool (if slightly confusing as I am used to a low profile).
Right now I am at the airport in Boston waiting for flight to SF then Sydney, then Adelaide.
So in about 30 hours will be on OZ soil. Some real feeling of sadness (but good sadness) today as the miles unwound toward the airport.
Amazing, amazing trip - thanks so much to all those who supported the trip in one way or another especially the worldwide PDRacer community, duckworks and the storerboats crowds.
I think I am going to sleep on one or more flights!

| | It sounds like it has been a real success and has brought the Gospel according to MIK to a wider audience.

| | I felt a bit sad driving MIK to Logan (not to mention honored to be the one to deport him!)
It's been great to have him. I think we all feel a bit sad too see you go, too, MIK. See you in a couple years, we hope! |

| | Good morning Mik,
Thanks for the effort you put into logging your pics while you have been away. You clearly enjoyed a wonderful trip and your photography captured a view of things the usual tourist does not see.
Regards

MIK | Hey, the wandering wombat's home
Right boys, time for Ubeaut's Wooden Boat Squadron (SA division) to organise another event
Anyone like to organise a barbie and slide night? Mind you, it'd have to be a 'slide decade' to get through all them snaps.

| | I've mentioned this on your Facebook page, MIK, but I will repeat: Your photo sets have been a real joy to see, especially the Mystic Seaport set. You're labors of love are greatly appreciated. |

| | Howdy Chaps,
Spent yesterday ketching up with people in my favourite cafe in Gawler Place.
Sure ... a slide night would be fun, lets organise a sail too and I can do the standard talk for youse if you want. Though I think you know the contents better than anyone else in the universe.

Is that like "holding court in Gawler Place" ?
Thought I saw a commotion out there en route to/from the dentist. ;-)
Welcome back MIK. Boating/eating day sounds like a Good Thing [TM]

| | It is nice to be back.
Was pretty hard to keep the photographers in bay in Gawler Place - being a narrow street and all.
