I think - "square boat" as like as OozeGooze - pdgoose version of Ocean Explorer can be really seaworthy. For example: stability of pram shape hull could be better than stability of other tiny boats (12 footers) with classic pointy bow.

When seaworthiness is mentioned I'm thinking big waves and wind blowing dogs off chains. I don't know how the OozeGooze will perform in those conditions but I can tell you that taking big waves on the nose of a PDR is similar to being stuck in stop and go traffic while driving a convertible in a downpour.

More like "seaworthy for expected use".

Yes. She can be really seaworthy ("lakeworthy") for her purpose and scale.
I've owned nano microcruiser shown in this threat above - she was seaworthy ("lakeworthy") more than expected but her ability to going into the wind decreased with the increase of a wind and wave height - it's normal for tiny unballasted boats with high sides, cabins and bows. I think - OozeGooze could be better in it.
Just right!

Perttu, I would be very interested in learning more about this craft as I am going to start building something very similar in the next month or so. Let me know if you are willing to share some design info.
Thanks

Hi Joe
We are releasing plans for OozeGoose -soon. I cant say how long it will take to finish them, but drawings are close to finish - but spelling and cecking for mistages, material lists and thinks like that should be done. If I make a guess it will take some 6 weeks? or longer?
It will take 7 sheets of 6mm ply.
Thanks
Perttu

Howdy,
Perttu and I have been passing sketches between us for about 4 months.
This process can often result in a boat that is "over-thought". Too much thinking adding complication.
But this cruiser version of the PDGoose looks like the design has been completely effortless - it just looks RiGHT.
I suppose I had better get on and do my part of the detailing. Foils, Spars, Sails. We have all the dimensions, but need to rewrite the instructions to account for some of the differences.
Very happy with this.
Michael
