    Hi

My quick canoe was close to destroy when shelter collapsed, becouse of snow. Luckily it was not in corner - where it was in first place or the twisted metal poles would have destroyed it

    It's really very unpleasant...
How many snow? What was the structure and spans between supports of shelter? Did you any photos?

(Few years ago was the collapse of the roof of a large exhibition hall in Poland - were many victims of fatal. There was only less than half a meter of snow, but the structure of the hall was defective and poorly maintained!)
    Aloha!

Ouch!!! It's a tent shape shelter. It looks really dramatic! 60 cm of wet and heavy snow for this shelter is really to much!

At present is normal snow max 20 cm on my area, but on December 2010 there was really to much of it. But it was not similar to really dramatic situation on Bornholm island on the same time:

I've not launched my BETH YuanFen yet, but the Spring is real! No snow! No frost!
Grass is green, the trees have buds, forsythia blooming!!!

    Hurray!!!

Before end of April I intend to do all the work needed before launching: varnishing the deck, painting the bottom and sides.
