I just finished the third flu in this season - I'm too weak for my butt soaking in cold water yet .
Perttu - your water skiing looks great! Thanks for video!
Yesterday's walk with the dog to the lake Dziekanowskie - willows have tiny, green leaves! Swans guarding its own land - probably getting ready to breed:
The Spring is real!

Hey Perttu, that's an awesome video, way to keep it real! In the states, we would call that "core" as in "Dude, you are so core!" (awesome, true to the sport of skiing, etc)
Actually, "core" is maybe 2 years too old now, but I'm old so it sounds young and hip to me.
Love the schuss, pretty area! Wish I could still ski here, I'm already missing it!.... But sailing is coming!

Where are you?
In my country spring is a total: Grass (lawn? I have not true lawn) is ready for first mowing, most of trees have leaves and blooming! Temperature is circa 20 of Celsius degree. Today is a second day of Easter Holydays that I cant work with my BETH (most of neighbors catholics are), but this is a great day for deck's varnish...

I just read car parts catalog and got an idea! ( I know that sounds dangerous.. ), but had to test it.
So I bought sheap ( 5.9 eur ) cell phone mount to car.
I have Kodak Zx1 "camcorder". ( 49 eur + remote controll ) The cell phone holder is ideal for mounting "camcorder" like this. Kodak lenses angle of view is too narrow so I have bought "lens" for it :
$16.75 - 15mm Detachable 180-Degree Wide Angle Fish Eye Lens for Cell Phones and Compact Digital Cameras - Phone Gadgets
Lens is attached with magnet, but it´s quite weak, so I cut clip of big markers hat and glued it to "camcorder" for better mount to lens.
and here is photo :
and another :
( maybe good to secure mount with tape )
And back to thread : Preparing to summer!
Here is test video: actually it works quite nicely - biggest downside is that with remote control I did not have a clue when the camera was filming - but for sure I am going to use this more during SUMMER!!!

Spring??? :-?
This morning was morning frost on my area... some of young leafs died...
On other areas of my country was snow again.
Morning frost is normal up to 15 of May in my country but it is really dangerous for horticultural crops etc.
My BETH is waiting (on a wall) for her time - photo from October 2010:
