... but she has other neurological problems still.
    I expect a long rehabilitation...

    Default Sailing again!

This Sunday was really beautiful summer's sunny, hot and windy day! Firstly the wind Force 1 - 2, but at afternoon gusting 3 and more - from S and SW. First reef on mainsail taken - I had initially a little sail area, but then as much as I need to, and at times even too much!

Photo (by my cell phone) just before start:

On the lake I met my friend Janusz Ostrowski with his wife and their new proa "Mata Pjoa" (firstly launched on July 4th and made her maiden voyage down Polish Baltic sea coast). Janusz made few of photos - me and my BETH "YuanFen" sailing - hoping to see them soon as possible.

My wife had her last day of hospitalization - tomorrow she will be transported to her mother's home in Warsaw or to the Stationary Rehabilitation Centre in Konstancin-Jeziorna. The second one solution will be better for her, because of her neurological problems, which are still the result of accident...

I am glad the sailing is continuing and your wife is getting better.

It is important to have both!

Today I was able to once again be on the Reservoir Zegrze (in August was only once ) and I hope that this was not the last time ... It was beautiful! Few boats under sail and motor boats only two. Was windy well, gusts strength of about 5 Bft. The shore flanked by high trees and from these trees flew strong kicks. Based on the wheather predictions I've taken double reefs ... something started to drizzle ...

... and it seemed that the double reefs is an exaggeration, because the wind was about 2 Bft. In a moment, sky cleared up and it got very warm, so I came to the bank to remove the oilskin, because I felt it too hot.

Fortunately, I've not unreef ... Because just after clear from began to blow hard again, and for a moment I had a wet bottom . This weather continued until the end of the day - sometimes clouds were coming, again and gusted diminished to 5 Bft.

Boats sailed reefed, catamarans flying on one hull, the sailboards planing until he appeared MOTH on hydrofiles. Wow, how it's funny flying!

In the end I went back to my harbour:

I wish we approach the end of the season ...
    Aloha!

I'm missing sailing now ... reading this ... But not too long before I get to Oklahoma for SAIL OK.

There is a sailing day this sunday amongst the Pinoyboats (Philippine home boat builders) this sunday ... but I'm caught up in other things.

    So not too long.

    I understand it perfectly!

I started the weekend. I would like to sail, but I have to be in the studio, and tomorrow I'm going to another job ...

Sailing too little, but everything is OK - as long as the blood in the veins!

Unhappy The end of my navigational season 2012 ...

    Hi All,

    The end of season 2012

With different, not all of me subsidiaries reasons season ended today. My sailing canoe is back hung on the wall of the garage ...
With the help of Luke eljot78 (thanks!!) she was taken and hung on her winter place.

    Photos from today:

Fixing to the roof rack ...

And .. again on the wall in the garage.

Today was (still is!) Beautiful, sunny, warm, almost summer day, but unfortunately, I had to finish the season. Could not go further than Zegrzyński Lake and all sailed in the low season - fun started, but once on August and on September I sailed only once also...

I have an idea for a new boat for the trip to Bornholm, but ... Time will tell!
