    Default Canada Goose

Had some time today, and started on an Oz PDGoose. I got the sides and airtanks cut, the transoms cut, chines and gunnels installed, and got it 3D.

Next up to do is to build and install the daggerboard trunk, bulkhead and mast framing, then the bottom can go on, followed by the side decks, upper mast step and foredeck.

I am building it the same as my Mk3 Oz Racer to see if the simplified construction is an improvement, and also as a test platform for different sailing rigs. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. It will be fun trying.

I am naming this new boat 'Longa', because it is a little longer than my Oz boat. It comes off a little better if you say it with an Australian accent, as my crappy Canadian accent can't quite make 'longer' sound like 'Longa'.

    Geez,

I can't take my eyes off of you for a moment Rick!

Do you have a bit of epoxy for the step and partner and the leeboard case?

I have been pretty impressed at how the PLPremium held together for the rest of your boats, but the high stress areas might be worth swapping.
