Umbrellas?!? What the hell did I make a sail for?
Thanks again Paul. I look forward to sailing alongside in the future.

Mystic rocked!
I had a great time at the WoodenBoat Show at Mystic, Connecticut! Not only did I get to meet MIK, Clint, Paul, and Christophe, but I also oogled over Clint's and Paul's Goats, which was my primary reason for attending. Thanks Gents for making the event memorable!
Here are some pics for the GIS community. There are many more photos of these and other boats in my latest blog post (linked in my signature). For the individuals concerned, full resolution versions are available there. Please feel free to download for your pleasure. If you do happen to repost the images, I'd ask that you credit the photographer, Rick LaFontaine, because he puts great effort into his work.

Paul's Goat: very shiny!
Paul, I have a few more shots in my blog post...
Now THAT's a wooden boat!!!
Come out next year and see me on display!!!Dave

Dave, your brother's photos make my boat look great. All I have are the pics I took with my crummy little point-and-shoot. I will definitely be in touch about getting some hi-res copies from you and/or him. Thanks!

So, if I volunteer in the Family Boat Building tent next year, whose team would I be on? Clint's, because he's a fellow Goat builder? Duckworks', because they've helped me with my GIS? Or the CT "home team"? Sounds like this could cause trouble.

Dave, do not turn pro, or you'll never finish your Goat! Trust me....
Paulie, Christophe and I are both from CT originally, so we're already sort of like the home team! Best of both worlds.

Ok then! If you want my help next year, I'm yours.

At least there would be a decent excuse. No, I meant I'd fill the space (but certainly not the shoes) left by Paulie in the Built It Myself display.
