Starting up again

I know I've posted on my PDR before somewhere , but which thread ?.
So , I've started another.
Anyway , slowly but surely , my shed is up , heating , in the form of a slow combustion stove will be installed , and I'm really hoping to be able to finish my PDR .
When I can get it out of the old milking shed .
Then , I've got to work where the hell I'm at , and start forward again !.
This is the shed , its designed so my wife has the western end , with its mezzanine , to do her crafty stuff , and I've got the rest for boats , and carriages.
I'm about to start training a pony for the grandkids , there are 5 of them now , and a couple of little boats would be nice .
So , I'm going to combine the "Huon Seal" spruce up , with finishing off the PDR , in the rest of this winter.

Hi Rob and welcome back to this forum.

Looks like a great shed and I have been following your adventures with bigger boats.

For those not aware of the history, Rob was the very first person to build an OZ PDR hull from the newly finished plans. He did that at the Duckflat Spring School when it was down in Goolwa.

I used mostly his pictures for the first comprehensive construction set of putting together the MK2 version.

He has had a few things happen in the meantime ... sold a farm, moved down to the coast and bought himself a Grey Seal canoe yawl. I think he has learned a lot about sailing too.

Gee , has it been that long ?.
Yes , I have learnt a bit about sailing.
Enough to know , that there is a lot more to know !.
I just wish that I'd got in to this years ago , but hey , I've got to deal with the present , and the future.
I've got a bit of shifting around to do , but soon I'll have a nice cleared corner of the shed , and I'll get everything together that I can find , and get going again.
Michael , you used to have nice pictorials of how to fit out the PDR , do you still have them somewhere ?.

Well , after my last post , I injured my shoulder .
But I got going again today , shifted everything I could find down to the new shed , except for the boat itself.
One thing , I carefully put the mast on a flat surface , now it seems that is what I have got , a flat surface on one side .
I should be able to get the boat down soon.

Just waiting for a truck delivering plaster boards for the mezzanine to turn up , and the slow combustion stove to be installed in the shed , and I'll be able to set up in comfort .
