Wooden Boat Show
http://www.woodenboat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98884
Here is link to the show in Mystic this past weekend. I'm in there on display with Drake.
Clint and Drake (posted by MIK)
Next year I'll be bringing perhaps the Wooden Boat premier of a GIS with a mizzen! I had a nice drawing of the GIS with mizzen (posted in the GIS Yawl topic) and people were pretty interested. I hope MIK gets at least one plan sale out of it.
Enjoy the shots. It was a great show! Time to move on to the Goat.
Cheers,
Clint

Here's a quote from a post by Ben Fuller:
I found it refreshing that the boat that won best professional had no stinkin varnish, just good paint and muted at that. And that boat would be Drake. About time that gloss was seen for what it is. Good plain elegant boat building does not need varnish especially if you are going to use it. I suspect that some of the varnished specials have not seen the time on water that Clint has already put in with Drake and know that none will be showing up at the Blackburn.
cheers,

Thanks. I hope to get that same spot...imagine the two pictures side-by-side...the Goat would look huge in comparison. There are in-water spots, too. That would enable some test sails to happen!

Thanks Clint the Mystic show looks facinating on so many fronts. Congratulations on the boat really nice.
Question I noticed a pic of a trad built Coquina on one of the displays with an interesting deck treatment wonder if you had any more pics or know where some may be.
Cheers
Mike

Clint,
Looks like a sweet little boat. I enjoyed seeing all the images over at WBF. The GIS build should go quickly for someone with your experience.
Prosit,
