Paintings by a horse!!

A horse who paints with his mouth is to have an exhibition of his work staged at a Venetian art gallery.

Curators at Galleria Giudecca 795, described as "an innovative place for art and culture", decided to stage the one-horse show after being impressed by the works of Cholla, a 23-year-old mustang-cross from Reno, Nevada.

Paintings by the 15-hand horse have sold for more than 2,000 pounds and collectors include Martha Stewart, the businesswoman queen of American home-making.

Cholla - pronounced Choy-ah - uses his mouth to hold a brush and paints on an easel-mounted canvas in his paddock.
