Default Would a router do a better job?

Not sure how authentic it is but thought I would share it.

I think, looking at the wound, that he was drilling in the wrong direction. A bit more in the "up" direction, and towards the "left" (his left).

If he'd concentrated more on keeping the bit running along the grain and out through the top of his scone we might have been able to avoid any comment at all on the stupidity of the human race - but the b!@#$%$'s keep surfacing to try and portray the rest of humanity in a poorer light.

Well I'm sick of it - I can do enough stupid things myself without some other idiot contributing!!!!

tsk, tsk ,tsk ... He should've clamped a scrap block to his face so that the drill bit wouldn't ruin the job on exit.

Thankfully, most of us don't live in the United States, where this kind of thing is quite common. Unfortunately, the judges in the US are to blame, by first of all even allowing the cases to be heard, and then awarding the idiots involved damages. This has all resulted in manufacturers having to put stupid warning labels on many products. Some of these include:

(On an iron) Do not iron clothes while still wearing them

(On a set of bathroom scales) These scales are not intended for use in the bathroom

(On a hair dryer) Do not use in shower

(On a 13 inch wheelbarrow wheel) Not intended for highway use

(On a can of pepper spray) May irritate eyes

(On a microwave) Do not use for drying pets

    and my all time fave.....
(On a bottle of sleeping pills) May cause drowsiness

All in the US, but for how long? Common sense isn't that common anymore..........

    Taking a guess based on:
    - Shaved head,
    - Dog tag cord on neck,
    - Rather large piercing of right ear,
    - Shape and line of groove,
    - Type of damage,

that a reasonable sized lump of lead wrapped in brass had done the damage.

    Close call.

According to this web site, 'twas a bullet that did it.

Thus, I can now safely resume using my drill (not to excavate nasal cavities though...)

    Cheers,
    Andrew
