Axiom in Brisbane?
Hi Guys,
is there anyone in Brisbane that owns an Axiom CNC? Particularly an i2R although it’s not critical. I would really appreciate it if you would give me some of your time and run me through it’s operation and use.
cheers
Gary

It might help if your post mentioned what you are referring to

Tissue?
I suspect no one answered because no one owns one. Do you want a bunch of people chiming in to say they don't want one?
It's a lot of $$$ for the specs, but then again pretty much every commercial machine is. No idea how well constructed and finished.
I suspect in large part because CNC routers are just not made in as large volumes as a lot of other machines / tools.

How can you decide whether to answer a post, or not, unless you view it first?
Heading was “Axiom in Brisbane?” which could have multiple meanings so one would need to view the post to see what was actually being asked.

Would you pick the axiom over the avid CBC router based on price or local service agent?

Well due to COVID shipping delays it arrived about a month ago! I have turned it on and managed to drive all axis’s home using the UCCNC software. It has been a super steep learning curve with both UCCNC AND Vetric Vcarve. I believe I have written a routine? In Vcarve loaded into UCCNC to level my spoil board….. I just haven’t committed yet!

Hi, not sure how far into the purchase you are. I have only just started to look myself at these machines. I’m hoping in 6 months time I will go down the path of the avid Cnc. But I think it will be around the 24k mark. If you have a look at their website it’s pretty impressive.
