Default Another (or bent) way to do lithophanes

For a along time I have wanted to try lithophanes on a round tube.

CNCWrapper has given me the means to give this a go.

Really is a great little program. Just a few intuitive clicks and I have the lithophane code Wrapped around my rotary axis.

The cost of CNCWrapper is the best twenty bucks I have ever spent.

If you are interested to see details, you will have to sit through this short youtube video.

My partner saw this video and said "You sound really daggy!"

So to hear me being DAGGY, watch the video.

Nice work Greg. I've grabbed a copy of the wrapper program for future use. Might be something I'll tackle next year.

You keep lifting the bar on your work. Lots of potential there and the demo makes you want to go and buy the program.
Now all you need is to design and cut a base to elevate it all off the table.
    Cheers,

Talk about lifting the bar! I think that the bar is now actually beyond my reach completely ... I am still trying to reach the little bar in kindy class and Greg is in the PhD class! That is truly amazing.

Keep up the good work Greg,

Agree with Alan, talk about lifting the bar. Only downside... the video isn't in HD... lol. Just kidding.
Keep up the great work and we'll make sure we keep our drool buckets close and handy.

Yes it is just PVC water pipe.

I bought the more expensive pressure pipe thinking that I would need the 5mm wall thickness.

However I found for a balance of light and dark (thin and thick) I only needed 2.5mm wall thickness.

So I could have used cheaper SWV or sewer pipe.
