Default I where can I buy a good desktop CNC machine

This should be an easy question to answer, but I just don’t seem to find what I’m looking for.
I am a guitar repairer based in Hobart. I have a basic CNC machine that I made myself with MDF (Joe’s 2006 model). I’ve made wonderful things with it, but it’s never been very accurate and I’m looking to upgrade. So why is it so difficult to find something suitable in Australia?
All I want is a good quality, sturdy desktop 3-axis CNC router with a cutting area of about 900 x 600mm. I’m expecting to pay up to $10000 (hopefully less). I don’t really want to import one.
Can anyone suggest an Australian website with what I need? I have found a grand total of two.
    Thanks.
    Paul

Sorry, I can't help you with an Australian design.
I will be in a similar situation for my next CNC Router and I like what CNCRouterparts have to offer.
You can buy the Frame AND electronics or not.
This one is around $4k now.( frame only ) Add Aussie conversion and postage. I will probably buy the whole she-bang.

Have you seen the OX kits from Makerstore in Australia? I’ve been looking at their smaller one as I have limited room. I do have all the electronics so I would only be buying the base kit.
My only reservation, as I stated before, is the toothed belt drive. Most of the upgrades you see on the Web use screw threads. Not as fast as belts but I like the solid aspect of them.
