Commercially available routers???
Hi All
After many years on doing work jobs on my home DIY CNC router we have decided to buy a "real" CNC router for work.
We are after a cut around of around 900mm x 600mm. Z around 100-150mm of travel.
We cut ridged polyurethane foam and MDF. The MDF will only be light cuts with small cutters. The foam is easy to cut, I can't push my ballscrew machine fast enough to load up the cutter.
Our budget would be under $6000. That should include everything for this price. Cheaper the better.
I have done a bit of a search on the net and can find many in the lower price range that would suit our needs. $20-30K+ there are lots.
While I am happy to build a kit of parts from here ad there work is happy to pay for a fully tested turnkey machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what is out there or who to talk to?
Thanks
Gareth

Sorry, can't help you much re Australian availability, but locally an off the shelf 900 x 600 CNC starts at around $8300 Canadian + tax

I see Carbatech have a 1200 x 600 one for AUD $9000.
I've not used either unit so can't comment on their functionality or limitations.regards from Alberta, Canada
