Door machining software?
Hi
Anyone know of a door machining software package that's fully automatic, I don't wnat to be the one who has to manually program each door. The shop I'm in wants to start manufacturing doors with raised panels and the likes... We use enroute as our nesteing package and there is an add on component that will do doors but I was wondering what else is out there.

I use ProfileLab. It's great if you cut the same file over and over - just press start on the router

a little bit off topic, but I am making some largeish solid timber doors at work at the moment. You know 80mm deep big tenon etc. They don't have a bandsaw, so guess what, they used the CNC to cut the tenons. Technology eh, next they will be slicing veneers with lasers.
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

Have you checked out V-Carve Pro, and Vectrics associated packages, Cut-3D and Photo V-Carve?
They're fantastic, and incredible value. Try the demo. I'm nothing to do with them, just a very very happy customer. They can be used in combination with Vector Art 3D's relief models, and I know lots of people are using V-Carve Pro to make beautiful carved hardwood doors. I've used it myself for cabinet doors. Plus they have fantastic support and a very active and friendly online forum.
Anyway, here's the site: http://www.vectric.com/
.....and the forum:

.....and the VectorArt3D site which sells relief models:
