    Default Flooring Medallion

    Hi CNC people,

I am looking for someone to undertake a project to create a 'medallion' about 700mm in Diameter.

I am after a compass, made of different species of timber at about 10mm thick and glued onto a ply board. All up about about 19mm thick or so.

Is this possible? I have tried hunting around for these things already prefabbed but to no avail.

    Cheers

    Hi Mick,

Are you in hurry? I'm in the process of building a new machine that will be able to do, but it's going to be 1-2 Months before it's finished. It's too big for my current one.

No worries John, No I am not in a hurry. More wondering if could be done. Will catch up in the next few weeks to show you what I am thinking.

I want to install it into a hardwood timber floor.

No probs Mick. The Vetric software that I use has an inlay feature which is what this job needs. Sounds like a good project for me to learn how it works
