Default What happened to those centrelink computer consoles?

A few years ago there was a bit of discussion about some computer consoles that were being sold off.

I now find I would very much like one.

Any one happen to have one they bought but never got around to using? Long shot I know.

I did a search and found an old thread about these.

Here is a pic. Does it jog anyones memory? Any of these languishing in the back of some ones shed?

The ones I had were commonwealth bank kiosks.

All gone now apart from some touchpanels and mounting hardware, planning to build one from scratch one of these years.

I can spare a touch panel or 2 w/vesa panel mounting bracket & bezel if you wanted to build a cnc console Greolt but the monitors are duds (possibly repairable, haven't had a chance to look at them) and the panels haven't been tested, the touch panels are a separate 3M unit and can be transplanted to another 17" monitor.

    Thanks but no.

I was hoping for was a complete kiosk as they were sold off.

My thoughts were to make it a mobile machine control unit.

It would have been a miracle if someone had a spare, but thought I would ask, just in case.
